Class 8 - Year 3 - Mrs Keen

The Learning Bubble

Each child has access to their own learning space and class community page along with a range of exciting learning resources. To access these resources as well as other useful things, children need to log into our 'Learning Bubble'. To do this they need to click the 'log in' button on the bottom right of this screen or click the image underneath where it says 'Log into our Learning Bubble. Every child has a username and password. This should be in their homework diary or reading record book. If your child can not find their log in details please speak to Mrs Keen.

A bit about us

PE Kits

You will need a PE kit each week: Your kit should include: white t-shirt and black shorts. In winter you may wear a track suit and trainers

You may already be aware that in Year three the children take part in swimming lessons. You will receive a letter closer to the time informing you of dates and other key information.

Our Weekly Timetable

As you can see there is a lot going on! If you have any questions at all about anything in this newsletter or about things in general, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. It would be lovely to meet you.

Mrs Keen

In addition we are going to continue to work on our times tables. Some of us are doing really well and have got to grips with x2, x5, x10, x3 and are now up to x4. Any extra work you can do at home would be fantastic. Thank you.

And finally … a huge thank you to all the children and parents for joining in with the class Reading Race and the Reading Plus programme. It is really important that the children take part in both of these activates. The extra practice makes a HUGE difference. Thank you for all the support given at home!

Homework diaries
All homewrok will be written in diaries. Mrs Keen will also sign it each time she hears you read, as well as each week. You need to record each time you read at home and in school. Parents also need to sign the diary every time they hear you read and each week. If parents and carers want to use the diary as a way of communicating please feel free to do so

We are always on the lookout for willing volunteers to listen to the children read. Please come and see me if you are available.
