Stay safe. programme please see the attached letter or visit: https://learning.nspcc.org.uk/services/speak-out-stay-safe 🚲🛴As part of Warrington Borough Council’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable travel and healthier lifestyles, they have developed a series of PINDAR maps tailored for both high schools and secondary schools across the borough. They represented the school brilliantly with their fantastic behaviour and positive attitudes throughout. We’re incredibly proud of them all! Back at school, the Year 6 children who stayed have also had a wonderful week. They’ve been a great help around school and even had the opportunity to step into the role of a teaching assistant for the day—which they thoroughly enjoyed! Cheshire Police Communication
A Message for Parents: Online Safety and Snapchat Group Chats Cheshire Police have recently shared information about a Snapchat group chat that raised concerns, involving both adults and young people — including some children from the Warrington area. The police are currently managing the situation and want to raise awareness among parents and carers. While this relates to a specific case, it highlights the importance of regularly talking with children about how to stay safe online, especially when using apps like Snapchat or being part of group chats. We encourage you to take a few minutes to read the police message below and use it as an opportunity to have an open, age-appropriate conversation with your child about staying safe and feeling comfortable coming to you with any concerns. 🔗 Police urge parents to speak with their children about Snapchat safety following reports of a concerning group chat in Warrington | Cheshire Constabulary Thank you for your continued support in helping to keep all our young people safe online.

A Warm Welcome to the Locking Stumps Community Primary School Website.

Welcome to Locking Stumps! It’s a privilege to lead this fantastic school where children are at the heart of everything we do. Since becoming Headteacher in 2017, I have been passionate to work with our amazing team of staff and governors to go above and beyond to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment for every child. We want our children to enjoy school life!

Our curriculum is driven by four key principles:

  • Relationships – helping children build respectful, caring and positive connections.
  • Aspiration – encouraging every child to believe in themselves and aim high.
  • Communication & Language – developing confident, articulate learners.
  • Health & Wellbeing – supporting physical and mental health to promote happy, healthy lives.

We also believe school should be fun, enriching and full of opportunity. From exciting trips and clubs, to themed weeks and outdoor learning, we aim to make our school life engaging and memorable.

Alongside this, we live and breathe our Everyday School Values, which guide how we learn, play and grow together as a community.

Locking Stumps is a school to be proud of; a place where children are encouraged to be their very best, both in and out of the classroom. We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our school.

Take a look at some of our videos, browse our website and view our amazing handbook - you will learn lots about our school.
